From the Truck

Crab is not something you eat in a hurry. You sit down, you roll up your sleeves, and you take your time. That is exactly why we wanted it on the truck: a plate that turns a quick stop into a proper meal.

What is in it

Crab cooked in a spiced gravy with onion, chili and cilantro. The gravy is thick enough to cling to the shell and to the rice beside it, and the cilantro goes on at the end so it stays fresh and green. It is a plate for people who like to work for their food a little, and to be rewarded for it.

A note on the spice

Crab carries heat well, so this is a plate where medium is a good place to start. Ask for mild if you want the sweetness of the crab to lead, or Dhaka hot if you know what you are doing.

Crab is cooked in small batches, so ordering online with a pickup time means your plate is ready when you arrive. For events, ask us about a crab curry course when you book the truck.
