Refund and Cancellation Policy

Every plate is made when you order it, so this policy is short and fair: cancel freely before we start cooking, tell us quickly if something is wrong, and we make it right.

The location that prepared your order is the seller and gives the refund; it comes back the way you paid, from that location's Square account.

1. Cancelling an order

You can cancel for a full refund until the kitchen starts cooking your order. Call the location (the number is on your order page) and give the order code; if the order has not been started we cancel it and refund the full amount. Once cooking has started the order cannot be cancelled, because the food is already being made for you.

2. Orders we hold or refuse

If we hold an order for a quick check, your card is authorized but not charged until we accept it. If we refuse the order, the authorization is released and nothing is charged; a payment that was already taken is refunded in full. You are told either way.

3. When something is wrong

Missing, wrong or unsatisfactory items: tell us at the window before you leave, or within 24 hours of the pickup time by phone or email with your order code and, if you can, a photo. We replace the item or refund it, whichever you prefer where both are possible. Food cannot be returned once it has left us, and taste is personal, but we will always hear you out.

4. Orders that are not collected

An order is held until closing time on the day of pickup. Food that is not collected cannot be resold or refunded once it has been made. If you are running late or something has come up, call us; we will do what we reasonably can.

5. How refunds are paid

A refund goes back to the way you paid: to your card or wallet through Square, to your PayPal account, or in cash at the window for an order paid there. Card and PayPal refunds usually show within 5 to 10 business days, which is the bank's timing, not ours. A partial refund carries its share of the sales tax. Points used on a refunded order come back to your account; points earned on it are reversed.

6. Coupons and rewards on refunded orders

A coupon used on a cancelled order can be used again if it is still valid. Referral rewards on refunded or cancelled orders are reversed.

7. Payment disputes

If you do not recognize a charge, call or email us first: we can see the order and settle it on the spot. A chargeback filed with your bank for an order we prepared and handed over is answered with the order record, and repeated unfounded chargebacks lead to online payment being closed for the account or phone number involved.
