Authentic Bangladeshi street food, made fresh in Maryland

Catering Terms

Dhaka Street Food · Last updated September 19, 2026

These terms apply when Dhaka Street Food ("Dhaka Street Food") caters your event, from the quote to the last plate. They sit on top of the Terms of Service.

1. Quotes

A quote is written for the date, place, guest count and menu you gave us. It is valid for 14 days. Prices in a quote include the food and the service described; travel, venue fees, permits the venue requires and rentals are listed separately when they apply. Sales tax is added as the law requires.

2. Booking and deposit

Your date is held when you accept the quote and pay the deposit of 50% of the quoted total. Until then the date is open to others. The deposit is applied to your final bill.

3. Balance

The balance is due 3 days before the event, by card, PayPal, bank transfer or cash. An event whose balance is not paid by then may be released.

4. Changes

You can change the guest count and menu choices up to 3 days before the event; the bill is adjusted to the final count, and the count cannot go below 80% of the quoted one. Later changes are honored where we can, at cost.

5. Cancellation

  • 7 or more days before the event: the deposit is refunded in full.
  • Between 3 and 7 days before: half the deposit is refunded.
  • Less than 3 days before: the deposit is kept, because the food has been bought and the day set aside.
  • If we have to cancel for a reason within our control, everything you paid is refunded in full. If severe weather, a road closure, a power failure or another event outside anyone's control stops the event, we work with you to move the date first; if that is not possible, we refund what you paid less the cost of food already prepared.

6. On the day

We arrive to set up before the agreed serving time and serve for the agreed window. The host provides a safe, level place to park or set up, access to the venue and any permission the venue requires. Food is served hot and fresh; for food safety we do not pack up leftovers that have been out for more than two hours, and food that leaves with guests is at their own care.

7. Allergens

Tell us about guests' allergies when you book; the Allergen Notice explains how we work and what we cannot promise.

8. Damage and conduct

The host is responsible for damage to our equipment caused by guests, and we may stop service if our staff are unsafe or abused.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland; the dispute rules of the Terms of Service apply.
