These terms are the agreement between you and Dhaka Street Food ("Dhaka Street Food", "we", "us") for the website at dhakastreetfoods.com and the online ordering, accounts, rewards and catering requests on it. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and, where they apply, the SMS Terms and the Catering Terms.
1. Who we are
Dhaka Street Food runs the Dhaka Street Food food truck and this website from 13207 Ailesbury Ct, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, USA. You can reach us at booking@dhakastreetfoods.com or +1 (240) 262-4646.
Each location is run by the business named for it below: that business is the seller of your order, takes your payment through its own Square account, collects the sales tax and answers for the food. The list is kept current by the location settings.

2. Accounts and who may use the site
You must be at least 13 to hold an account and at least 18 to place an order that requires a photo ID at pickup. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date; we hand orders over by the name and mobile number on the order. Keep your password to yourself: what is done with your account is done by you. One account per person. We may close an account that is used for fraud, abuse, repeated chargebacks or anything against these terms, and we may refuse service to anyone within the law.
3. Ordering
- An order you place is an offer to buy. We accept it when our kitchen confirms it; until then you may see it as "received" or "checking". We may give an unusual order a quick check first and ask you to confirm a code we send you; your card is authorized but not charged until we accept.
- We may refuse an order. If we do, your card is not charged, or a payment already taken is refunded in full, and we tell you.
- Menu items, prices and availability change. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. If an item sells out after you order, we contact you to swap or refund it.
- The pickup time on your order is our best estimate. Come at that time; hot food waits for nobody. An order that is not collected is held until closing time.
- Eat-here orders are for our tables where we have them, on a first come basis.
4. Prices, tax and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout at the rate of the location that prepares your order (MD sales tax today). Online payments are processed by Square, and by PayPal where we offer it; your card details go straight to them and never reach our servers. If you choose to pay at the window, your order is started when you arrive and pay. A short authorization hold may appear on a card while an order is being checked; it is released within a few days if we do not accept the order.
5. Cancellations, refunds and problems
How to cancel, when a refund is due and how it is paid back are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Points, coupons and referrals
- Points are a courtesy, have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are credited when an order is picked up. Points used or earned on an order are reversed if the order is refunded or cancelled. We may change or end the program with notice on this site; balances at that time are honored for 30 days.
- One coupon per order, subject to the conditions shown with it. A coupon cannot be applied after an order is placed.
- Referral links reward the member whose link brought a new customer, under the rates shown in the member's account. There is no reward for your own orders, for orders that are refunded or cancelled, or for orders we judge to be fraudulent. We may withhold or reverse a reward in those cases.
7. Allergens and food safety
We cook in a small shared kitchen. Read the Allergen Notice, tell us about any allergy in the note at checkout, and ask at the window. We cannot guarantee that any item is free of an allergen. Food is meant to be eaten when handed over; once it leaves us, how it is kept is up to you.
8. Texts and emails
Order confirmations, receipts and account codes are sent by email because you need them. Texts about your order and texts with offers are only sent if you tick the box for them; the SMS Terms explain how to stop them. Offer emails always carry an unsubscribe link.
9. What you send us
Anything you write to us (notes, messages, reviews) may be used to serve you and to improve what we do. Do not send us anything unlawful, abusive or that belongs to someone else.
10. Our content
The Dhaka Street Food name, logo, photos, recipes, words and the design of this site belong to us or to our licensors. You may use the site to order from us and to share our pages; you may not copy, scrape, resell or republish it.
11. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break into the site, place orders with cards that are not yours, create accounts for others, flood us with orders or requests, or interfere with anyone else's use. We keep records of how the site is used (see the Privacy Policy) and we use them to stop fraud.
12. Disclaimers
The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it is always available or free of errors, and menu descriptions and photos are given in good faith. Third-party services we rely on (payments, maps, texts) have their own terms.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent Maryland law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with an order is the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights under consumer protection law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Talk to us first; most problems are solved with a phone call. A claim that cannot be settled that way is brought in the courts of Prince George's County, Maryland.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the business, the site or the law changes. The date at the top tells you when they last changed; the new terms apply to orders placed after that date.
