Accessibility Statement

Dhaka Street Food wants everyone to be able to read the menu, order ahead and reach us. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across the site and we keep working toward it.
1. What we do
- Every page has a proper heading structure and page title, and pictures that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard: the menu, the basket, checkout, the account and the forms, with a visible focus.
- Buttons and links on phones are large enough to tap, text can be enlarged with the browser, and colors keep readable contrast.
- The decorative animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Forms say what is wrong and where when something is missing.
2. What we know is not perfect
- The card and PayPal payment forms are built by Square and PayPal inside our page; we chose them for their own accessibility work, but we cannot change them.
- Some pages carry lively pictures and moving shapes from the design of the site. They are decorative and never carry information you need.
- Third-party embeds, such as the map on the contact page, are provided by others.
3. Another way to order
If any part of the site does not work for you, call +1 (240) 262-4646 and we take the order by phone, or email booking@dhakastreetfoods.com. At the truck, ask and we will read the menu and help with payment.
4. Tell us
If you find something that is hard to use, tell us at booking@dhakastreetfoods.com with the page and what happened. We answer within five business days and we fix what we can.
